Biography

"If it Doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change you!"



I have served in the USAF for 15 years. I completed my first 13 years as a K-9 handler, and then the last 2 years, I transferred into the fire service as a firefighter. But I could not leave behind my K-9 lifestyle and still work as K-9 handler (bomb dog) on my off days from Fire. I have deployed 7 times to combat locations over my career, leading infantry soldiers down range, looking for Improved Explosive Devices and searching for high valued targets. My fitness originally started when I was 9 years old I had started Kenpo Karate; but, when I joined the military, I realized my fitness needed to reach a new level, and I began to train in combat functional fitness.

I did this to make sure I could carry the weight of my fellow teammates and my K-9 partner. And my fitness still is climbing as I learn how to be a better and stronger firefighter to help protect my team and the community when they need help. In 2013, I decided to take a different look into fitness and did my first Bodybuilding show (completely out of the norm for me) and have been hooked ever since.
